Serving the community doesn’t always mean just serving them with their real estate needs. I love to do things for my neighborhood and find creative ways to give back to my neighbors who support me!
This week I hosted an ice cream social for my Bridlewood neighbors. The Hershey’s Ice Cream Mobile came out for an hour and I treated my neighbors to ice cream. There is really nothing sweeter than a kid with an ice cream cone and a big smile on their face.
The Hershey’s Ice Cream truck served cups, waffle cones, sundaes, and milkshakes. They even came prepared with pup cups for the residents who brought their dogs out for the fun! The line was long there for awhile but it moved swiftly and the owners of the truck are the absolute best! They made sure everyone was taken care of quickly and they all walked away with smiles on their faces.
My little 7-year-old neighbor was the cutest when she ordered “Vanilla ice cream with sprinkles and a cherry on top!”. I got great feedback from the neighbors who came out and I hope to do this event again before school starts. That would be a great way to end the summer! I hope everyone enjoys the rest of their summer and remember to always get a cherry on top!
